Pilots are born here. They come from around the world to train here for one reason: it’s the best place to become a pilot.
At 5,100’ ft msl, the Prescott Airport (PRC) is home to aviation experts of high altitude flight training - master high altitude flying and you can fly anywhere in the world. It is also one of only two places in the U.S. which the world reknown Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University calls home. Providing programs in flight training, aeronautical engineering and weather science programs, ERAU produces a World Champion Competition Flight Team, "The Golden Eagles".
Other flight training facilities at PRC like Guidance Helicopters offer first class, high altitude helicopter flight training and fixed wing fight training (Guidance Aviation), while the NorthAire flight training center is a certified Cessna pilot center and provides numerous flight training programs including aerobatic training if you have the “right stuff”.
Our airport boasts a brand new, first class FBO, Legend Aviation, with maintenance facilities, jet ramp, and pilot store all under one roof. Lockheed Martin flight services facility and training center calls our region home, only a few miles from the Prescott airport. PRC is also a part of the "golden triangle" and is the gateway to Sedona and The Grand Canyon.
The Prescott Commercial Airpark has commercial lots available for your aviation business while our commercial air terminal is home to Great Lakes Aviation making it easy for you to connect to the world.
