EAA SPORTAIR WORKSHOPS FLY INTO ERAU-PRESCOTT

The Prescott, Arizona, campus of Embry Riddle
Aeronautical University will host a
full slate of EAA SportAir Workshop courses the
weekend of January 10-11, 2009, at ERAU’s state-
of-the-art flight department at Ernest Love Field.
This will be the first SportAir Workshops held in
the region in eight years.

Courses offered include Fabric Covering; Sheet
Metal; Composites; Electrical; and What's Involved
in Kitbuilding. The workshop location is ideal for EAA
members and other aspiring airplane
builders/restorers  in the Phoenix, Flagstaff, Prescott,
and surrounding areas.

Mark Forss, coordinator of the EAA SportAir Workshops, looks forward to EAA’s return to this area of the
country. “We've had tremendous interest in offering the workshops in Arizona and we are very excited to work
with Embry Riddle, who is generously providing its top-notch facilities to host this important and popular
program to our members who reside in the area.” He said.

Saturday, April 18th 2009 - EAA Chapter 658 is sponsoring and old fashioned Aircraft Fly-in, Classic Car
Show and Pancake Breakfast.

Legend Aviation has generously offered their new facility as a location for this event!

Aircraft Fly-in featuring:  Antique, Warbird, Special Interest, Experimental, Helicopters, Ultralights, Radio
Controlled, (possibly Balloon, PPG, anything that flys is welcome)

Automobiles:  Antique, Special Interest, Sports Cars, Specific Types (eg: Corvettes)

Traditional EAA Pancake Breakfast and Bratwurst Lunch
